At On Wheels Bike Solutions, our story began deep beneath the ocean’s surface. We, Lina and Luis, originally worked as a marine biologist and a physicist, conducting research in deep-sea environments. After moving to Canada, we decided to bring the same passion, precision, and commitment to sustainability to a new venture: the repair and maintenance of bicycles, e-bikes, and e-scooters.

Driven by our shared vision of environmental responsibility and technical excellence, we established a company focused on improving repair efficiency while reducing waste. At the core of our mission is the integration of circular economy principles—such as the reuse of certified, upcycled parts—to give new life to micromobility devices and reduce their environmental footprint.

Today, Lina continues her PhD studies at Dalhousie University, while Luis has fully dedicated himself to running and growing our business. Over the past five years, he has become a certified technician through leading global bike and e-bike brands and has earned a reputation as one of Halifax’s most trusted experts in micromobility repair. His extensive experience includes helping launch and manage bike workshops for major names like Decathlon and BMG Ebikes.
